After School
3:30 – 5:30 PM | October-December and February-May
We need dedicated volunteers to help CAP staff maintain individualized student support, especially during peak college application season. High school drop-in volunteers must commit to helping out at least once a week during the fall session and as needed in the spring. We provide training to ensure that students receive reliable information and that volunteers feel knowledgeable and comfortable.
As a drop-in program volunteer, you’ll work closely with students on:
- Exploring Colleges
- Completing Applications
- Searching for Scholarships
- Completing Financial Aid Forms

In addition to drop-in support, all of our teams need project-based assistance throughout the year. Dates and time commitments vary.
Projects include:
- Administrative support
- Workshops and content-specific programmatic support
- Fundraising and event support

Celebrate
CAP Students!
We love to encourage our students and let them know that their community is cheering them on! We send care packages in the fall to arrive just before finals, and high school/college graduation notes in the spring.
Cheer students on:
- Prepare care packages for CAP alumni in college
- Write notes of congratulations to graduates
- Host a care package party and invite your friends! These are always a lot of fun and a great way to introduce CAP to your friends and colleagues!
