College Champions

Launched in 2023, College Champions, is a youth leadership opportunity for low-income, first-generation, undocumented, and BIPOC students is designed to:

• Provide a peer support system and early start in the application process for student populations least likely to attend college.
• Empower students to enter the college process as confident leaders by serving as a reliable resource within school communities.
• Provide CAP drop-in attendees with peer mentors who face similar challenges and reflect the diversity of the student body.

To be considered for this program, applicants must be enrolled in Pasadena High School or John Muir High School and on track to graduate in 2025. Candidates must be able to commit to a full schedule of summer and school-year activities and able to engage positively with a diverse student body.
