Campus Support at Pasadena High Schools
CAP partners with Pasadena’s John Muir, Blair Magnet, and Pasadena high schools, Mustangs on the Move, and Pasadena LEARNs to provide college readiness workshops and one-to-one college advisement after school to all students on a drop-in basis. Because students do not need to enroll in our programs permanently, they are free to access the help they need, when they need it. We work closely with instructors and counselors to insure our programs fit curriculum needs.
Additionally, CAP has an on-campus office at John Muir High School in order to provide students with regular college support at lunch and throughout the school day.
Lastly, CAP has always provided general college readiness and awareness presentations and informative planning portfolios to the students at John Muir and Blair and reaches every student at these schools with grade-specific materials and information.

Footsteps to College
CAP collaborates with John Muir High School to provide consistent college support through four-year group cohorts. CAP provides field trip opportunities to students in order to foster both individual and group relationships. Students in this program meet regularly to measure college, career, personal, and academic benchmarks–and to have fun!
Currently, CAP supports two mentoring cohorts, including 22 students from the classes of 2015 & 2016.
