It’s that time of year again! Starting February 22nd, CAP’s SAT prep instruction begins at four PUSD high schools (Blair, Muir, Pasadena, and Marshall Fundamental) through our partnership with PasadenaLEARNs. This is a FREE 8-session course that meets over ten weeks and is held after school from 3:15pm to 5:15pm. Participants must register for the May SAT and be able to attend every class.
Marshall Fundamental – Mondays
Pasadena High School – Tuesdays
Muir High School – Wednesdays
Blair High School – Thursdays
Class is held once a week. Details are provided in the application. Find the application form here and the media release form here. Both are required from all students who wish to participate in the class.
Students will receive specialized instruction on preparation for the SAT and have the opportunity to take advantage of supervised in-class practice. By the end of the course, students will be familiar with what to expect on the day of the test, be equipped with the tools to help them improve their scores, and be prepared with a list of schools to send their scores to on test day.
Please feel free to email Joanne Do, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Engagement and SAT prep instructor extraordinaire with questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
